Meet the Team

Holly Nuttall – Studio Director and Teacher
Holly founded Synergy Pilates in 2009 with the belief that a tailored, knowledgeable approach would allow each individual client whether private or group to get the maximum from their sessions.  Originally from a marketing and communications background Holly trained as a Pilates teacher after practicing Pilates for over six years and being convinced by the benefits she experienced in the own body.  She undertook her matwork teacher training with the Pilates Foundation studying under master teacher Anoushka Boone at Pilates in Motion.  Anoushka was one of the founder members of the Pilates Foundation and trained with Eve Gentry who was an original student of Josef Pilates.  The training included over 500 hours of practical study, applied anatomy and physiology and teaching workshops and covered all aspects of Pilates matwork including the classical repertoire, rehab Pilates and Pilates for special populations.  Holly is qualified to teach all levels of matwork along with having accumulated substantial experience of working with private clients to achieve a range of different goals and address different issues.

Since completing her training Holly has continued her professional development through additional Pilates courses and qualifications.  This included a specialist antenatal and postnatal Pilates post-graduate qualification with Rachel Rafiefar of the Thoughtful Body. Most recently Holly trained in reformer Pilates with Stott Pilates – the world’s leading producer of commercial Pilates equipment and accompanying teacher training.

Holly is a member of the Pilates Foundation as well as REPS Level 3.
